How Much Does a Sex Doll Weigh? Real Numbers by Type and Height

Heads up, I make a few bucks if you buy through my links. It doesn't change your price or what I tell you. How that works.

How much does a sex doll weigh? A full-size doll between 5’2” and 5’8” weighs about 71 to 106 lb (32 to 48 kg) going by current listings. A torso runs 27 to 61 lb (12 to 28 kg), and a handheld stroker is about a pound.

That spread is why I tell every first-time buyer to check the weight before the face. The photos don’t show you carrying her to the shower.

How much does a sex doll weigh, by type

Here’s what I pulled from seller listings in October 2026. Every range links to the listings behind it. These are the doll’s own weight, not the box.

Type Typical weight Where it comes from
Handheld stroker About 1 lb (0.5 kg) One listing: 17.1 oz on a Tenga stroker
Swap head (on a full-size doll) 4.4-5.5 lb (2-2.5 kg) One listing: a 5’4” silicone doll’s spec sheet
Butt doll 24-55 lb (11-25 kg) Tantaly: 24.3 lb to 55.1 lb
Torso (Tantaly listings) 27-61 lb (12-28 kg) Tantaly: 27.3 lb to 60.6 lb
Torso with head, about 3’4” (101-103 cm) 51-60 lb (23-27 kg) RealSexDoll: 50.7 lb to 59.5 lb
Full-size, 5’2” (158 cm) 71-73 lb (32-33 kg) SexDollPartner: 70.6 lb and 72.8 lb
Full-size, 5’3”-5’4” (160-163 cm) 75-106 lb (34-48 kg) 75 lb at RealSexDoll to 105.8 lb at SexDollPartner
Full-size, 5’7”-5’8” (170-173 cm) 84-90 lb (38-41 kg) SexDollPartner: 83.8 lb to 90.4 lb

Two things jump out. First, height doesn’t predict weight. The heaviest doll in my sample is a 5’4” with an H-cup, not one of the 5’8” ones. In these listings, bust and butt add more pounds than inches do.

Second, I couldn’t pin down a range for standalone heads or most pocket pussies. The head-only listings I checked don’t state a weight, and Fleshlight’s product pages don’t list one either, which is crap. So the stroker and head rows above rest on a single listing each, not a range. If I can’t back a number, I’m not making one up.

The 51 lb rule: why a heavy sex doll wrecks backs

Anything over 51 lb is past what a safety body calls ideal. The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) explains the NIOSH lifting equation, which starts every lift at a load constant of 23 kg (51 lb), the recommended max when conditions are ideal. Ideal means the load sits close to you, you’ve got a good grip and you’re not twisting. Every real-world factor knocks that number down.

I call it the 51 lb rule. Every full-size doll in that table breaks it. So do the bigger torsos.

And a doll is a worse load than a box. No handles, the weight shifts, and the arms and legs flop around while you’re trying to grip her. I’m an electrician, I lug spools of wire for a living, and a 70 lb doll still feels heavier than 70 lb of anything with a handle on it.

If you want a doll you can carry with one arm, look at a torso. A 27 lb one sits well under the rule.

Lightweight sex doll options: what “lighter” means in numbers

A lightweight sex doll is still a heavy doll. One way makers cut weight is a foam core in place of some of the solid silicone or TPE. Starpery published its own numbers: its 5’8” (172 cm) body dropped from 35+ kg to 29 kg with its newest weight-reduction build. That’s about 77 lb down to 64 lb.

So “lightweight” on a listing means “less heavy”. It’s still over the 51 lb rule. When a listing says lightweight and doesn’t print the weight, skip it. That’s bullshit copy until there’s a number next to it.

For the picks that actually come in lighter, see my guide to lighter full-size dolls.

Doll weight vs boxed weight on delivery day

The box always weighs more than the doll. Tantaly prints both on the listings I checked, which I wish everyone did:

That’s about 9 to 12 lb of foam and cardboard on top for the smaller dolls. The full-size listings I checked don’t print a gross weight, but one gives the carton size: 148 x 38 x 28 cm, which is about 58 x 15 x 11 inches. That’s a coffin-shaped box, and the courier will have questions.

In Canada, the Canada Post maximum parcel weight is 30 kg. Even a 5’2” doll is over that before the box, so expect a courier for a full-size. Plan to be home, and plan to get it up your stairs. My delivery-day walkthrough covers the rest.

How to carry a sex doll without wrecking your back

Test the weight, lift with your legs, keep her tight to your chest and never twist. That’s the short version. CCOHS guidance backs most of these steps, and here’s how it maps onto a doll.

  1. Test it first. CCOHS says to assess and identify the weight of the load before you lift. Tantaly even tells buyers to try lifting something of similar weight first. Haul a couple of bags of water softener salt up your stairs and see how you feel.
  2. Bend at the knees. Bend the knees as needed so you’re not bending your back, and keep the load close and centred on your body.
  3. Bear hug her, tight to your chest. The further out she is, the heavier she feels. Never lift by an arm or the neck. Neither one is a handle.
  4. Don’t twist. Turn with your feet. CCOHS puts it bluntly: turn your whole body by shifting your foot position instead of twisting.
  5. Rest and re-grip. Set her on the bed or a chair halfway if your grip slips. Don’t push through a bad hold.
  6. Get a second person for stairs. CCOHS says to get help with heavy or awkward loads and use a team lift. A floppy 80 lb doll on a staircase is both.

First time I carried a full-size to the shower, I pulled something in my back. Lift with your legs, boys. I learned that one the damn hard way.

Moving straps help with the boxed doll. Forearm Forklift-style straps are rated 800 lb and sold as a two-person kit. That 800 lb is a tensile rating, not a safe working load, and it does nothing if you’re alone. Grab a buddy. They don’t need to know a thing about dolls to carry the other end.

What owners say about living with a 75 to 90 lb doll

Owners in these threads say the weight feels heavier than the number reads. They split on whether you get used to it. Most of this is from an r/SexDolls thread on 75 to 90 lb dolls, started by a first-timer with a 90 lb doll on order.

The problem is dead weight, and strength doesn’t fix it. u/Reasonable-Sell580, in an r/SexToys thread, compared a 110 lb (50 kg) person with a doll of the same weight: “A 50 kg person and a 50 kg doll feel completely different in terms of weight.” u/ocelotrevolverco, a former competitive powerlifter: “Last year I had a 425lb deadlift, but still moving my 85lb doll around can be exhausting”. They say the stairs are the worst of it.

Where they conflict. u/Dopadoru, with a doll around 88 lb: “Honestly, you get used to it fast. It’s not as big a deal as people make it out to be.” Good for them. I wouldn’t bet my back on it. In the same thread, u/newtodolls says they regretted a doll of about that weight the moment it came out of the box.

For a first doll, owners in a first-timer thread set their own limits: u/dolfuka says under 77 lb (35 kg), u/DegreeHorror9396 says under 66 lb (30 kg). Both are looser than my 51 lb rule, and even the 77 lb line rules out most of the full-size table.

What the owners who got used to it do differently:

My read: the owners who got used to it stopped lifting her the hard way. If you can’t see yourself learning that, buy lighter.

What fits a small apartment

If you live in a walk-up, get a torso. Under 30 lb, you can store it in a closet and carry it one-handed to the bathroom. A 5’7” doll at 90 lb needs floor space, a strong back and usually a hook or a case.

Before you hit buy, run the numbers through my can-I-lift-it calculator. Plug in the doll’s weight and see where it lands against the 51 lb rule. For hanging, laying flat and hiding her from guests, see my notes on storing a doll.

The mistake most guys make

They shop by height and photos, and only ask how much does a sex doll weigh on delivery day. The listing says 5’3” and you picture something manageable. Then a box well over 90 lb shows up, the courier leaves it at the door and you’re dragging it down a hallway.

Check the doll weight, add 10 lb for a torso box or 20 for a full-size (my rough allowance), then ask if you can carry that up your stairs. If the answer is “maybe”, buy the torso. You can always upgrade later, once you know you’re into it.

FAQs

How heavy are sex dolls on average?

Full-size dolls from 5’2” to 5’8” weighed 71 to 106 lb (32 to 48 kg) in the listings I checked. Most land between 70 and 90 lb. Torsos run 27 to 61 lb, depending on whether they have breasts, a butt or a head. Bust and hip size swing the weight more than height does, so always read the spec sheet, not just the height.

Why are sex dolls so heavy?

Most dolls are solid silicone or TPE, and both are dense. Starpery calls them “much heavier” than the foam it now puts inside its lighter bodies. That’s why weight-reduced dolls exist. Even so, Starpery’s lighter 5’8” body is still about 64 lb, so “lighter” never means light.

How do you lift a sex doll out of the box?

Open the box on the floor next to where she’s going. Kneel, sit her up against you, bear hug her tight to your chest and stand up with your legs. Don’t lift her by an arm or the head. If she’s over 51 lb, have a second person take the legs.

How do you move a sex doll to a new place?

Here’s how to move a sex doll without drama. Move her in the original box if you kept it. That’s what it’s built for. Use moving straps and two people for anything full-size, and never carry her alone on stairs. If you tossed the box, wrap her in a moving blanket and carry her in a bear hug. And if your mom asks, it’s gym equipment.

Cheers, Craig
