How much is a sex doll? Going by October 2026 listings, anywhere from $6.99 for a single-use stroker to $21,999 for a robot. The band I’d point most first-timers at is $300 to $1,000: about $310 gets you a butt doll, $400 a torso, and $599 to $899 a TPE full-size on sale.

The sticker is only part of it. Where the doll ships from decides what shipping, duty and tax add on top, and that can swing the total by hundreds.

Heads up, I make a few bucks if you buy through my links. Doesn’t change what I tell you, and I’ll tell you to skip stuff all day.

How much is a sex doll, by type

The type sets the sex doll price more than anything else. Here’s what I pulled from listings in October 2026, all USD.

Type Price I found Shipping in the US
Handheld stroker $6.99 for a single-use egg, $69.95 for a classic Fleshlight, $109.99 for a reusable Tenga Free over $99 at Fleshlight, over $84.99 at Tenga
Butt doll (TPE) $309.99 to $709.99 with legs Free
Torso (TPE) $399.99 at 27.3 lb to $859.99 Free
Half-body with thighs (TPE) $989.99 Free
Torso (full silicone) $1,299 to $2,249 at Starpery Free, duties paid
Full-size (TPE) $599 on sale for a 5’2” at 70.6 lb, $899 on sale for a 5’7” at 90.4 lb Free from US stock
Full-size (full silicone) $2,499 to $2,900 on page one of Starpery’s catalogue Free, duties paid
Premium full-size and robot $5,999.99 for a RealDoll Classic, $21,999 for a RealDoll Robot Freight, priced at checkout
Swap head (silicone) $499 on sale Listed as free

TPE is a soft rubbery plastic. It’s cheaper and softer than silicone, but porous, so it needs more cleaning.

Both SexDollPartner full-size prices are sale prices, next to “regular” prices of $1,199 and $1,299. Those regular prices are crap for comparing, so use the sale price. And the egg is one use and done. Tenga’s own listing says to reseal it and throw it out.

If you’re shopping the bottom of this table, my cheap sex dolls picks go through the best options under $1,500 one by one.

The door price: sticker, shipping, duty, tax

The door price is what you’ve paid once the doll is inside your place: sticker, shipping, duty and tax. That’s the only honest answer to how much does a sex doll cost, and it depends mostly on where the box ships from.

Buying in the US

For a US buyer, a doll that ships from US stock or under DDP usually adds no duty to the sticker. Your state’s sales tax is a separate question. DDP means “delivered duty paid”: the seller clears customs and pays the duty before it gets to you.

The trap is a seller who ships from overseas and doesn’t pay duty for you. The old $800 duty-free rule for small imports is gone. It was suspended for every country from August 29, 2025, a trade court upheld that in August 2026, and the law ends it for good on July 1, 2027. So a doll mailed straight to you can owe duty at the door.

I couldn’t pin down a duty rate for dolls that I’d stake my name on, so I’m not giving you one. My guide to US sex doll tariffs tracks what’s changed. The simple fix is to buy US stock or DDP, and get it in writing on the listing.

Buying in Canada

Tax is owed on every doll on this page at the Canadian border, and possibly duty. The only question is who pays it, you or the seller. That’s the part guys in Canada forget when they ask how much are sex dolls. As of October 2026, a courier shipment sent from the US (not just passing through it) is duty-free only up to C$150 and tax-free only up to C$40. From anywhere else, the limit is C$20. Everything in that table except the strokers is well past C$150.

In Ontario that tax is 13% HST. On a $599 doll that’s roughly $78 worth of tax. That’s my estimate, before any duty, and the exchange rate moves it.

Who pays it depends on the seller:

  • Tantaly sends Canadians to its separate Canadian store, tantaly.ca, and its US listings warn that “additional fees may apply” outside the US. I couldn’t confirm CAD prices or who pays duty there, so check the total at checkout.
  • SexDollPartner says in the same shipping policy that Canadian customers usually have to clear customs and pay the taxes themselves.
  • RealSexDoll says it ships DDP to most countries, with Canada not on its list of exceptions. UPS air to Canada takes 7-12 days.
  • Starpery says duties and taxes are covered under its DDP shipping for most destinations, on the same shipping page linked above.
  • RealDoll says international shipping starts at $1,100, and the buyer pays customs fees, duties and taxes on arrival. A $5,999.99 Classic is past $7,000 before the taxman even looks at it.

My Canada customs guide goes through brokerage and the paperwork. Before you order, ask the seller one question: who pays duty and tax, you or them?

Want the math done for you? Plug the sticker, shipping and where it ships from into my landed-cost calculator and it’ll give you a door price.

Store facts: where these sellers ship from

The add-ons you’ll buy on day one

Budget about $50 extra for lube and a cleaner, and more if you want the full kit. Here’s what Tantaly charges for its add-ons, listed on its butt doll page in October 2026:

Add-on Price
Water-based lube $17.99
Heating rod $21.99
Renewing powder (138 g) $21.99
TPE doll cleaner $32.99
Standard care kit $32.99

All five come to $127.95. You don’t need all five on day one. Lube and a cleaner come to $50.98, and that’s the minimum I’d plan for.

The heating rod is a plug-in heater for warming the doll. I’m an electrician, so I read the wattage before the price. Check the listing says what it draws and that it shuts itself off.

What each budget actually gets you

Around $100 you’re buying a stroker, under $1,000 a body part or an entry TPE full-size, and silicone starts around $1,300. So how much is a sex doll on your budget? Here’s how it breaks down, door price in the US with free shipping.

  • Under $110: a handheld stroker. No body, easy to hide.
  • $300 to $500: a TPE butt doll or a basic torso. The parts that matter, and a 27 lb (12 kg) torso you can carry with one arm.
  • $600 to $900: the fork in the road. A bigger torso, a butt doll with legs, or a TPE full-size on sale at 70 to 90 lb (32 to 41 kg). Think hard about the carrying.
  • $1,300 to $3,000: silicone, torso first, full-size from about $2,500.
  • $6,000 and up: RealDoll and the custom end, plus freight.

Straight up, on a fixed budget I’d start in the $300 to $500 band. Prove you’re into it before you put a 70 lb doll on a credit card.

What fits a small apartment

The cheaper types are also the ones that fit a small place. A butt doll or a torso goes in a closet. A full-size needs floor space, a hook or a case, and somewhere private to dry her. Tight budget, tight apartment, same answer: a torso.

The mistake most guys make

They ask how much is a sex doll, find a sticker, and stop there. Then they compare sticker prices across sellers that ship from different places. A $599 doll from US stock with duty included beats a cheaper one that leaves the duty and tax to you.

Save $100 on the sticker, then hand the courier a damn customs bill at your door, and you saved nothing.

Compare door prices. Every time.

FAQs

Why are sex dolls so expensive?

My take: you’re paying for a lot of material and a big box. The two TPE full-size dolls above weigh 70 to 90 lb, and one TPE full-size ships in a carton about 58 inches long. Silicone costs more again. Torsos and butt dolls are cheaper because they use a fraction of the material.

How much does a silicone sex doll cost?

A full silicone torso runs $1,299 to $2,249 at Starpery, as of October 2026. A full silicone full-size runs $2,499 to $2,900 on the first page of its catalogue, with shipping and duties covered for most destinations. A RealDoll Classic, the premium benchmark, lists at $5,999.99 before freight.

How much does a robot sex doll cost?

RealDoll’s robot line lists at $21,999 per model as of October 2026, before freight. That’s more than three and a half times its Classic dolls. For what that money gets you, and what’s hype, see my reality check on AI sex dolls.

How much is a good sex doll?

A good first doll costs about $400: a 27 lb TPE torso with free US shipping. A good full-size starts around $600 on sale for TPE and $2,500 for silicone. “Good” means the listing prints its weight and material, and the seller tells you who pays duty.

Buy the torso first. If your mom asks, it’s a home gym.
