Affiliate Disclosure: How This Site Makes Money
This site makes money through affiliate links. If you click one of my links and buy something, the store pays me a commission. You pay the same price you would going to the store yourself.
Heads up, I make a few bucks if you buy through my links. Doesn’t change what I tell you, and I’ll tell you to skip stuff all day.
How I get paid
I earn a cut of the sale, not a fee for coverage. Some of my affiliate programs run through networks like Awin and Impact. The network tracks the click and pays me on the store’s behalf. Other programs are run in-house by the seller. Either way it works the same: no sale, no money.
It never costs you more
Your price at checkout is the same with or without my link. The commission comes out of the seller’s end, not yours. If a deal or a code is better somewhere else, I’ll point you there, link or no link.
Nobody buys a verdict
Nobody buys a review, a spot on a list or a better verdict. Commissions pay the same whether I say “worth it” or “skip it”, so a doll that’s crap gets called crap. And if the right pick for you is at a store I’ve got no deal with, I’ll still tell you.
It’s also what the regulators ask for. The FTC tells affiliates to disclose the relationship clearly, and the closer to the recommendation, the better. Canada’s Competition Bureau says to disclose material connections, like commissions, in each post.
The numbers can change
Everything on this site is true to the best of my knowledge on the day I checked it, and all of it is subject to change. Prices, specs, stock and store policies move, so I can’t guarantee every little detail is still right when you read it. The store’s listing at checkout is what counts. The full version is in my terms of use.
Where you’ll see it
The disclosure line above sits at the top of every review and roundup, not buried in a footer, with a one-line reminder that the numbers can change. For how I check specs, listings and buyer reviews before any verdict, see how my reviews work.
